I really want to learn german, but i'm fairly new to learning a new language on my own, and am a bit overwhelmed... i don't know at all how to go about it.. Best answer: i'm currently listening to "learn german as you drive." i got it on amazon for about $15. so far, i've been learning some german, but the other way that helps is by practicing with my dad and friend.. Exactly, depends on what you want to do and where you live. probably in the united states is more requiered spanish, because of the huge hispanic population..
Best answer: hey! how's break going umm the best way to learn a language is to read a book in it my dear. get a german book from the library and a dictionary and get reading. look up any words you don't know. get the book on cassette also so you hear the pronunciations of the words.. An free online program would be easiest for me so that would be great but books are good too when i am offline. recommend something.. Best answer: mikey and destiny are both right. on the one hand, it is easy for english speakers to learn because english and german are both germanic languages and have a lot in common. on the other hand, it's much more difficult for an english speaker to learn german than it is for a german speaker to.
